Comments: Margaret...your page, with the english translation,
has been great fun for someone finding it so ; difficult to visit
this area. My mother (Edna Ballenthin, Herman's wife) just turned
90, is homebound and I'm ; an only child. I do have cousins in Ratingen
though that really want me to visit. At some point, I definitely will. ;
I've started the page above for the convenience of my family, as my
records have just gotten huge. There is ; more precise detail below and
I do have a little more, but nothing before Johann and Emma/Martha. One
of ; Emma & Martha's nephews came to America. I've been in contact
with his descendents. They don't know ; anything about the Glienke
grandparents either. We are looking for the ancestors to Johann
Ballenthin and ; Emma Glienke. Emma died; Johann married Emma's
sister Martha. In total, there were 14 children, all born in ; GroB
Schwirsen, yet we can't find any records that might give Johann's
parents names, or the full names of ; Emma and Martha's parents. Would
you have any suggestions were we could contact? I'm pouring through the
; microfilms that the LDS church researchers have made available. I've
found a few Glienke's, but no matches to ; Emma and Martha. Absolutely
no Ballenthin's. Of 14 children, they must be somewhere! Would

1890. Settled in Rice County, Minnesota. 9 children. Eldest, Anna
Augusta Louise ; married Christian Frederich A. Fuchs III 11-2-1911 in
North Morristown, MN. Anna was born in Wussowke ; Treblin, Pommern,
Germany. Extensive family tree available on descendants; nothing
available on ancestors, ; but would REALLY like some.

Liebe Margret, meine Gratulation zu Deinen schoenen Webseiten zum
Kreis Schlawe, die ich eben gefunden habe. Die Seiten sind zwar noch im
Aufbau, aber sie sehen schon sehr verheissungsvoll aus. Wenn es so
weiter geht, und ich wuensche Dir viel, viel Ausdauer dabei, kann sich
jeder, der Interesse am Kreis Schlawe hat, sehr gluecklich schaetzen.

Und das, was es schon gibt, gefaellt mir auch sehr gut: Die Optik
sieht sehr schoen aus und die technische Realisierung (Erstellung der
Seiten, Aufbau und Gliederung der ganzen Seiten/Informationen) -man
moechte meinen, Du machst das schon Jahre ;-)- und die Inhalte sind
hervorragend! Mach weiter so, Margret, und Deine Seiten werden mal die
